How do I participate in a digital course?
All our digital courses run through Teams.
To participate in Teams, you need an internet connection (Wifi) and a PC or tablet. It is also possible to participate via a smartphone, but we do not recommend this.
We recommend that all participants download the Teams app in good time before the course starts. You can download it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app
Before the course starts, you will receive an email from your teacher inviting you to join the meeting in Teams. Click "Join the meeting now" when your course starts.
I have not received an email
If you can't find an email from Skills Centre Neo about the start of the course, or an email from your teacher with a link to a digital meeting, you can check the following:
- Look in your spam folder/junk mail
- Do you have multiple email accounts? Check your other accounts, in case you have been registered with us with a different email than the one you use on a daily basis.

How do I connect to a Teams meeting?
Before the course starts, you should receive an email from your teacher. It contains a link that will take you to the meeting through Teams.
Remember to download the Teams app to your PC or tablet.
I can't get in when I click on the link
Check that you are logged in to the correct account (if you have, for example, a work account/other accounts).
I can't hear the others
Check if the volume on your device is turned off.
Check if the sound is on in Teams, and check if the sound is set to the correct output. To do this, press the arrow to the right of the microphone icon in the menu bar. Then check that the sound is on and that it is connected to the correct output.
The others don't hear me
Make sure your microphone is switched on. If there's a line over the microphone icon, you'll need to press the microphone icon to switch on the sound.
Then check if you are connected to the right microphone. To do this, press the arrow next to the microphone icon and then select the correct microphone.
The others don't see me
Check that your camera is switched on. If there is a line above the camera icon, you need to press the camera icon to switch the camera on.
Then check if you have connected the right camera. To do this, press the arrow next to the camera icon and then select the correct camera.
I can't write in the chat
First, make sure you have downloaded Teams. If you haven't downloaded Teams, you can do so via this link: https://www.microsoft.com/nb-no/microsoft-teams/download-app
If you're on a PC, open the chat window by clicking on the chat icon on the menu bar. 
If you are on a mobile phone, open the chat window by pressing the three dots and then the chat icon.
